Pokémon Monopoly Edition Available for Pre-Order

Hasbro has announced the release of Pokémon Monopoly Edition, a new board game that combines classic Monopoly gameplay with Pokémon adventures. Available for pre-order at $24.99, the game is set to ship on December 20, making it a potential holiday gift for fans. Players take on the role of Pokémon trainers, exploring various locations and capturing 48 different Pokémon, with the goal of collecting one of each of eight types to win. The game introduces Adventure and Challenge cards, replacing traditional Monopoly elements with Pokémon-themed tasks and battles. Players can choose from four Pokémon tokens: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Pikachu, enhancing the gaming experience for both kids and adults. This edition is a departure from previous versions, focusing more on Pokémon-catching mechanics rather than property acquisition.
