Dozens Sue Cedars-Sinai's OB-GYN for Misconduct

Thirty-five women have filed a lawsuit against Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and former OB-GYN Dr. Barry J. Brock, accusing him of decades of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault and battery, while they were under his care. The lawsuit alleges that Cedars-Sinai was aware of Brock's abusive behavior but failed to act, thus enabling and covering up his actions. Plaintiffs' attorney Anthony T. DiPietro criticized the hospital for allegedly 'lying' and 'gaslighting' victims instead of protecting them. Brock, who had his privileges revoked earlier this year, denies all wrongdoing, claiming that any allegations are distortions of his actions. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for the emotional and physical harm caused by Brock's misconduct. Cedars-Sinai has stated that they are committed to a thorough legal process and their mission to serve the community.
