Amber Alert Issued for Missing Teen, Infant Near Austin

An Amber Alert has been issued for 15-year-old Daela Diaz from Pflugerville, Texas, who was last seen on May 9 wearing a black dress and black and white Jordan tennis shoes. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Along with Diaz, an 11-month-old baby named Christopher Roman was also reported missing in the same area. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Pflugerville Police Department immediately. The Amber Alert system, created in memory of Amber Hagerman who was abducted and killed in 1996, is designed to quickly notify the public to aid in locating missing children. Other missing persons alerts unrelated to this case were also issued in Wyoming and Indiana but are separate incidents.
