Young Sheldon Star Raegan Revord Comes Out Nonbinary at 17
Raegan Revord, best known for their role as Missy Cooper on CBS's Young Sheldon and its spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, publicly came out as nonbinary at the age of 17. They expressed pride in their identity and reflected on how seeing other nonbinary and queer celebrities growing up helped them feel seen, hoping to provide similar representation for young fans. Revord uses they/them pronouns and first changed them on social media earlier in 2025 before openly discussing their identity in interviews. In addition to acting, Revord is the author of the debut young adult novel Rules for Fake Girlfriends, a queer romantic comedy set in England, inspired by their love of British rom-coms. They emphasized the importance of telling their story and the impact representation can have on others facing similar journeys. Revord’s openness highlights a growing visibility for nonbinary identities in the entertainment industry.
