Anthony Scott Appointed Superintendent of Indiana State Police
Governor Mike Braun has appointed Captain Anthony M. Scott as the 21st Superintendent of the Indiana State Police, effective immediately. Scott, a 28-year veteran of the force, previously served as Area IV Commander and has held multiple leadership roles since joining the police in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. In addition, Lieutenant Christopher L. Hill has been promoted to Colonel and will serve as Assistant Superintendent. Both appointments mark a new leadership era following former Superintendent Doug Carter's decade-long tenure. Scott expressed his honor in leading the department and his eagerness to collaborate with Governor Braun on public safety initiatives.
