Police Seize £300K Suspected Cocaine in West Belfast Raid
Police in west Belfast seized an estimated £300,000 worth of suspected cocaine during a search of a property in the Glenalina Park area as part of an ongoing investigation led by the PSNI Organised Crime Branch. Alongside the cocaine, officers also recovered other drug paraphernalia including deal bags and scales. No arrests have been made yet, but police continue to work on identifying those involved and have urged the public to provide information through various channels. Detective Inspector Miskelly emphasized the significant harm caused by the illegal importation and supply of Class A drugs and reaffirmed their commitment to targeting criminal activity. Authorities encouraged anyone with information about drug use or supply to contact police or submit anonymous tips via Crimestoppers. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime in the community.
