Second Suspect Arrested in Columbus Murder Case

Miguel Anaglate, 21, was arrested for criminal homicide in connection with the May 2023 shooting death of 19-year-old Symir Lee after DNA evidence linked him to the crime scene. Anaglate is charged with third-degree murder, conspiracy, robbery, and firearms offenses, while another suspect, Imeen Warren-Thornton, had been charged earlier. In a separate case, U.S. Marshals arrested 18-year-old Dwayne Johnson for the murder of Michael Simmons, 28, during a fight on August 3 in Columbus, Ohio, where he allegedly chased and shot Simmons after another suspect initiated the violence. Johnson's arrest follows that of Isaiah Wharton-Howard, who had also been charged with murder in the same incident. Both suspects are awaiting court proceedings as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
