Prime Video's 'Earnhardt' Docuseries Premieres May 22

Prime Video will premiere 'Earnhardt,' a four-part documentary series chronicling the life and legacy of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, with the first two episodes debuting on May 22 and the final two a week later. Timed to coincide with Prime Video’s inaugural NASCAR Cup Series broadcast, the docuseries explores Earnhardt's rise from his North Carolina roots to nationwide fame as 'The Intimidator,' highlighting his 76 race wins and record-tying seven Cup Series championships. The series delves into Earnhardt's family dynamics, his influence on the sport, and the tragic events surrounding his death at the 2001 Daytona 500. Produced by Imagine Documentaries, NASCAR Studios, and Everyone Else, and directed by Joshua Altman, 'Earnhardt' features rare archival footage and emotional interviews with family, friends, and colleagues. The docuseries will be available exclusively to Prime members in over 240 countries and territories. Executive producers include Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Dan Lindsay, TJ Martin, and others.
