West Indies Names Test Squad for South Africa Series

The West Indies have announced their 15-man Test squad for the upcoming series against South Africa, starting August 7. Vice-captain Alzarri Joseph has been rested to manage his workload, following his participation in all three Tests against England, while off-spinner Kevin Sinclair is sidelined due to injury. Head coach Andre Coley emphasized the importance of a balanced team, combining experience and youth, to maximize performance in the home conditions. Veteran pacer Kemar Roach returns to the squad after recovering from a knee injury. The matches will be played at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago and the National Stadium in Guyana, following a disappointing 0-3 series loss to England. The series will be followed by three T20 internationals.
