EA and Prime Video Launch NHL 26 In-Game FACEOFF Season 2 Event

Electronic Arts (EA) and Prime Video have partnered to integrate season two of the docuseries "FACEOFF: Inside the NHL" into EA SPORTS NHL 26, launching a special two-week Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) event starting October 7. This event features themed challenges, exclusive rewards, and episodic HUT Moments that mirror the real-life drama, rivalries, and comeback stories showcased in the series. Star players like Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, Sidney Crosby, Brad Marchand, and others are highlighted, allowing fans to relive key moments and build dream lineups. The collaboration aims to blur the lines between cinematic storytelling and interactive gameplay, offering fans an immersive dual-screen hockey experience. Andrea Hopelain, GM and SVP of Publishing for EA SPORTS, emphasized the partnership's goal to bring fans closer to players and defining moments both on screen and in the game. The docuseries streams exclusively on Prime Video starting October 3, coinciding with NHL 26's in-game event.
