Great Britain secures silver in Innsbruck World Cup bobsleigh
At the IBSF World Cup event in Innsbruck, Trinidad and Tobago's four-man bobsleigh team finished 24th, falling short of qualifying for the top 20 with a time of 51.50 seconds. In contrast, Great Britain's team, led by Brad Hall, secured a silver medal in the four-man event, marking their third podium finish of the season after a gold in Winterberg and bronze in St Moritz. Hall's crew improved from third to second place, narrowly finishing just behind Olympic champion Francesco Friedrich. The German teams dominated the event, with Friedrich extending his lead in the overall standings. In the women's two-woman bobsleigh, Olympic Champions Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi claimed victory, setting a new track record. Elana Meyers Taylor of the USA finished fourth in her 100th World Cup start, narrowly missing the podium.
