Nine Injured in Stampede After Beyoncé Concert

Nine people were injured during a stampede at Atlanta's Vine City MARTA station shortly after Beyoncé's final Cowboy Carter concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when screams triggered panic on a crowded escalator, which reportedly sped up and then stopped abruptly, causing people to fall. Eight individuals were hospitalized—seven with minor injuries and one with a broken ankle—while another person declined medical transport. Emergency responders were seen assisting the injured with stretchers and wheelchairs. MARTA and local authorities are still investigating the cause of the escalator malfunction and the stampede.
