80 Firefighters Tackle Large Battersea London Block Blaze
A major fire broke out at a four-storey residential building on Maysoule Road in Battersea, London, with the entire top floor and roof engulfed in flames. Around 80 firefighters and twelve fire engines responded to the blaze, using a 32-meter turntable ladder as a water tower to tackle the fire from above. The building was evacuated by crews wearing breathing apparatus, although no information on injuries has been confirmed. Residents described the smoke as suffocating, severely limiting visibility and creating conditions similar to smog. The cause of the fire remains unknown as firefighters continue their efforts to extinguish the flames. Authorities are actively managing the scene to prevent further damage.
