Dwayne Bravo Named Trinbago Knight Riders Head Coach for CPL 2025

Dwayne Bravo, former West Indies all-rounder and five-time Caribbean Premier League (CPL) champion, has been appointed head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) for the 2025 CPL season, succeeding Phil Simmons. Bravo, who played 107 CPL matches and represented TKR in nine seasons, brings extensive coaching experience, having served as head coach of Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in ILT20, mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025, and bowling consultant for Chennai Super Kings and Afghanistan's 2024 T20 World Cup team. TKR manager Colin Borde expressed confidence in Bravo's leadership and cricket knowledge, emphasizing the positive impact he is expected to have on the team. The 2025 CPL season will begin in mid-August, with TKR aiming for their fifth title under Bravo's guidance. Bravo has also announced he will continue playing in the World Championship of Legends in July, showcasing his ongoing involvement in cricket both on and off the field. TKR's squad features a blend of youth and experienced international players, setting the stage for a competitive campaign.
