Michael B. Jordan Stars in 'Sinners' Horror Thriller, Global Premiere April 16

Michael B. Jordan is set to star in the supernatural action thriller 'Sinners,' directed by Ryan Coogler, marking their reunion after 'Creed' and 'Black Panther.' The film, set in 1932 Mississippi, features Jordan as identical twins Smoke and Stack, who return home with aspirations to open a juke joint, only for their opening night to turn into chaos. Jordan expressed that he needed no convincing to take on the dual roles, despite not being a fan of horror films, and described how he worked closely with a twin double to develop his characters. Coogler drew inspiration from his late uncle's love of blues music, alongside influences from Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot' and other horror classics. The film explores themes of community and nostalgia, resonating with its cast, including Hailee Steinfeld. 'Sinners' is set to begin its global release on April 16.
