Paramore Drummer Zac Farro Announces Debut Solo Album Operator

Paramore drummer Zac Farro has announced his debut solo album titled 'Operator,' set for release on July 18 via Congrats Records. This album marks his first full-length release under his own name, distinct from his previous work with the band Halfnoise. 'Operator' explores deeply personal themes such as anxieties, family issues, and communication breakdowns, with a raw and reflective tone. The lead single, 'My My,' embraces a country-folk style and addresses the emotional pain of witnessing a loved one trying to let go of someone they care about, capturing moments of silent reflection. Farro collaborated closely with friends and Nashville musicians Josh Gilligan and Chancey Pierce, allowing the album's vision and magic to organically unfold during its creation. This new project highlights a sonic departure from both Paramore and Halfnoise's pop-rock and J-pop-inspired sounds, revealing a more intimate and vulnerable side of Farro's artistry.
