Jensen McRae Announces New Album, North American Tour

Jensen McRae has announced her sophomore album, 'I Don’t Know How But They Found Me!', set to release on April 25 via Dead Oceans, accompanied by the lead single 'Praying for Your Downfall'. The album, which includes contributions from notable artists and was recorded in North Carolina, reflects McRae's journey and resilience as a Black woman in the folk genre. The title is inspired by a quote from 'Back to the Future', signaling a playful yet profound message of acceptance and strength. McRae's new single showcases her lyrical depth, addressing themes of letting go of vengeful impulses. In addition to the album, she will embark on an extensive North American tour starting May 3, with dates across major cities, before taking her performances to Europe in June. McRae's previous album, 'Are You Happy Now?', received critical acclaim, setting high expectations for her upcoming release.
