Indian Airlines Face Delays in Microsoft Outage

Flight operations at multiple airports in India, including Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Pune, Raipur, Madurai, Trichy, and Bengaluru, were severely disrupted by a global Microsoft cloud services outage. Several flights were canceled and delayed due to system failures, forcing airlines to resort to manual check-ins. Passengers faced chaos and long queues at check-in counters, with over 200 flights canceled nationwide. Airlines like IndiGo, SpiceJet, Akasa, and Air India were among those significantly impacted by the outage, leading to operational challenges and flight disruptions globally.
