Eric Moulds Sued for Allegedly Spreading Herpes

Former NFL player Eric Moulds is facing a lawsuit from a Western New York woman alleging that he knowingly transmitted herpes simplex virus type 2 to her without disclosing his condition. The unnamed plaintiff claims she and Moulds had a relationship beginning in January 2023 after connecting on Instagram in 2018, and she tested positive for the virus after their last sexual encounter in November 2023. The lawsuit also includes allegations that Moulds targeted single mothers who were fans of the Buffalo Bills, and that his pregnant fiancée alerted the woman to get tested, suggesting that Moulds had a history of similar encounters. Moulds' attorney has vehemently denied the accusations, labeling them as false and stating that they will vigorously defend against the lawsuit. The plaintiff expressed her motivation for the lawsuit is to prevent other women from becoming victims of Moulds’ alleged predatory behavior. There are claims that previous women have also been silenced through nondisclosure agreements after similar incidents.
