Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, has reportedly separated from his wife, Cristina Serra, after 30 years of marriage. The couple, who have three children, had been living apart for nearly five years, with Serra moving back to Barcelona to manage her fashion business. Guardiola is expected to move out of their £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona, which he purchased in 2021, and continue residing in a luxury apartment in Salford when in Manchester. Despite the separation, their relationship is described as cordial and they spent Christmas together with their children. The split comes amid a challenging period for Guardiola, both personally and professionally, as Manchester City's form has declined recently. Serra and Guardiola met when he was 18, and they married in a low-key ceremony in 2014.
