Spaceballs 2 Sequel Expected 2027 With Original Cast, New Stars

Amazon MGM Studios is producing a sequel to the 1987 cult classic parody film Spaceballs, with Mel Brooks returning as producer and reprising his role as Yogurt. Josh Gad is starring in and co-writing the script, describing the project as a "fever dream" and highlighting the enthusiasm of working alongside Brooks. Original cast members Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, and Daphne Zuniga are all set to return, with Moranis making a notable on-screen comeback after a decades-long hiatus.
