'Vought Rising' Adds Cast, Sets Producers

Amazon's 'The Boys' franchise is expanding with a new prequel series, 'Vought Rising,' set in the 1950s as a twisted murder mystery exploring the origins of Vought International, Soldier Boy, and Stormfront. Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash will reprise their roles and serve as producers, while new cast members include Jorden Myrie, Nicolò Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, Brian J. Smith, Will Hochman, and Elizabeth Posey. The show is helmed by showrunner Paul Grellong with executive producers Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and others. Details about new characters and the storyline are mostly under wraps, but the series will delve into the early history of Compound V. Production begins in August 2025, with the premiere expected after 'The Boys' fifth and final season. 'Vought Rising' is the third spinoff in 'The Boys' universe, following 'Gen V' and 'The Boys Presents: Diabolical.'
