'Heads of State' Sets July 2024 Prime Video Debut

'Heads of State,' an action-comedy starring John Cena as U.S. President Will Derringer, a former action movie star, and Idris Elba as UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke, will premiere on Prime Video on July 2, 2024. The film follows the two leaders, whose public rivalry threatens their nations' alliance until they must join forces after an attack by a powerful enemy endangers global security. Aided by MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), they embark on a multinational mission to stop a far-reaching conspiracy. The star-studded supporting cast includes Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, and Paddy Considine. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the movie blends explosive action and comedy, focusing on the culture clash and banter between the two protagonists. Cena and Elba, who previously worked together in 'The Suicide Squad,' also serve as producers.
