Paulist Priest Chris Malano Celebrates First Home Mass in Hawaii

St. Joseph Church in Waipahu celebrated a special baccalaureate Mass honoring the class of 2025, featuring Paulist Father Chris Malano, a newly ordained priest and 2025 graduate returning to his home parish for his first Mass. Father Malano emphasized the theme of transformation during his homily, encouraging graduates to embrace change and faithfulness as they move forward in life. Eighteen graduates from various educational levels were honored, receiving blessings alongside the congregation. Meanwhile, in Trinidad and Tobago, People’s National Movement leader Pennelope Beckles urged alienated party members to return, promising renewed leadership and a commitment to regain public trust. Beckles emphasized her dedication to lead with integrity and humility and criticized the opposition's failure to address the country's issues effectively. Additionally, the Danish Presidency of the EU Council commenced on July 1, 2025, with a focus on advancing European statistics legislation and celebrating 175 years of Statistics Denmark's service to independent official statistics and democratic decision-making.
