West Bloomfield police, assisted by the Southwest Oakland Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Timberlane Trail resulting in the arrest of 19-year-old Deago Harrell. Authorities seized multiple firearms, counterfeit currency, stolen credit cards, victims' personal documents, prescription pills, and various electronic devices, including laptops and smartphones. Harrell was charged with Uttering and Publishing Counterfeit Bills or Notes and arraigned with a $75,000 cash/surety bond. The investigation revealed Harrell was allegedly operating a multifaceted illegal scheme involving counterfeit money and stolen identities.
