GeForce NOW Expands Support to New Headsets

Nvidia has announced that its cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, will soon support the Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, Pico headsets, and Apple Vision Pro, allowing users to stream PC games via web browsers starting later this month. This update, version 2.0.70, will enable access to over 2,100 titles with features like ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS, but it will not support VR-native games. Users will play on a virtual screen rather than in a fully immersive VR environment, similar to how Xbox Cloud Gaming operates on these devices. The service is available in three subscription tiers: Free, Performance, and Ultimate, with varying levels of access and quality. GeForce NOW aims to provide a powerful gaming experience without the need for high-end hardware, thus democratizing access to the latest games. This development comes as part of Nvidia's broader strategy to enhance cloud gaming capabilities across multiple platforms, including a native app for Valve's Steam Deck later this year.
