Golden Knights Advance After Series Win Over Wild
The Vegas Golden Knights advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs after defeating the Minnesota Wild 3-2 in Game 6, with goals from Shea Theodore, Jack Eichel, and Mark Stone. Goaltender Adin Hill made 29 saves for Vegas, while Ryan Hartman scored both goals for Minnesota. The Wild, who once led the series 2-1, suffered their ninth consecutive playoff series loss and have not advanced past the first round in a decade. Vegas will face the winner of the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings series next. Mark Stone played a pivotal role for the Golden Knights in the final three games, contributing four points. Minnesota’s season ended in a first-round exit despite strong efforts from Hartman and Kirill Kaprizov.
