Vin Diesel Confirms Paul Walker’s Return Fast X: Part 2 Finale 2027

Vin Diesel recently announced at Los Angeles' FuelFest that the final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, titled Fast X: Part 2, is scheduled for release in April 2027. Diesel outlined three key conditions for the finale: returning the franchise to its Los Angeles roots, refocusing on car culture and street racing, and reuniting Dom Toretto with Brian O’Connor, the character played by the late Paul Walker. Despite Walker's tragic passing in 2013, his character will make a comeback through CGI, continuing the approach used in Furious 7 with the help of Walker's brothers. Additionally, the franchise plans to bring back other characters previously presumed dead, such as Gal Gadot's Gisele Yashar, highlighting a broader revival of the original cast. Diesel also expressed appreciation for co-star Charlize Theron, praising her performances and her charitable work in Africa, with both set to appear in the upcoming film.
