Saquon Barkley Documentary Premieres Oct 9 Globally on Prime Video

Prime Video will premiere "Saquon," a feature-length documentary executive produced by Martin Scorsese, on October 9, coinciding with the Philadelphia Eagles' season opener against Saquon Barkley's former team, the New York Giants. The film chronicles Barkley's journey over five years, from his struggles with injury and contract negotiations to his triumphant Super Bowl LIX victory with the Eagles, highlighting his resilience and character both on and off the field. Barkley, who led the NFL with a franchise-record 2,005 rushing yards in 2024 and became the ninth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season, is portrayed not only as an elite athlete but also as a devoted father, husband, and friend. The documentary provides intimate, behind-the-scenes footage, including Barkley's contract battles and personal moments, offering fans an in-depth look at his career and life. Produced by NFL Films, LBI, and Vision26 Studios and directed by Alex Pappas, the documentary follows the success of a similar Amazon Prime project featuring Eagles center Jason Kelce.
