Fiverr Launches 'Fiverr Go' for AI Task Management

Fiverr has launched a new initiative, Fiverr Go, aimed at empowering freelancers by allowing them to train AI models on their work, thus enabling AI to generate content in their unique style. This program, called the Personal AI Creation Model, aims to help freelancers in creative fields such as voice-over and graphic design automate tasks without losing control or credit for their work. Fiverr CEO Micha Kaufman highlights the initiative as a way to ensure freelancers are irreplaceable rather than obsolete, amid fears of AI replacing gig jobs. The program allows freelancers to set prices for AI-generated content and maintain ownership of their models, though clients will own the rights to the final product. Despite potential risks of AI-generated similar results for different users, Fiverr emphasizes maintaining high-quality adoption by initially providing access only to top freelancers. This approach seeks to balance the benefits of AI with the need for transparency and accountability in its application.
