SEC Unveils 2025 Football Kickoff Windows, Featured Games

The SEC and ESPN have announced kickoff time windows and initial TV network assignments for the majority of 2025 SEC football games, introducing Early, Afternoon, Night, and Flex windows for both conference and major non-conference matchups. Teams such as Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, and Mississippi State have schedules with specific times or designated windows, and final times will be set no later than six days before each game. Notable rivalry and marquee games, including the Magnolia Bowl (Ole Miss–LSU), Texas A&M–Florida, the Red River Rivalry (Oklahoma vs. Texas), Egg Bowl (Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State), and Palmetto Bowl (South Carolina vs. Clemson), have received prominent or flex time slots. This new system, part of the SEC's rights deal with ESPN, aims to provide more planning flexibility for fans and broadcasters and maximize viewership, especially for high-profile matchups. All SEC-controlled games will air on the ABC/ESPN family of networks. The changes are intended to streamline planning and enhance the fan experience for the 2025 season.
