Adria Arjona Joins Adam Wingard's Onslaught

Adria Arjona is in final negotiations to star in and executive produce the action thriller 'Onslaught' directed by Adam Wingard, known for his work on the MonsterVerse films. This project, backed by A24, is described as a 'gonzo action horror thriller' where Arjona will portray a mother using her skills to protect her family from a threat that escapes from a secret military base. Wingard co-writes the script with Simon Barrett, and production is set to begin in New Mexico later this year. This role marks a significant opportunity for Arjona, who has previously garnered praise for her performances in 'Hit Man' and 'Andor'. Wingard aims to return to his roots with this film, distancing from his larger budget productions like 'Godzilla vs. Kong'.
