Rajkummar Rao Acknowledges Stardom of Peers

Rajkummar Rao, celebrating the success of his film Stree 2, acknowledged the star power of his contemporaries Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, calling them 'damn good actors' and stating they are 'definitely bigger stars.' In a candid interview on Unfiltered by Samdish, Rao emphasized that while he does not view stardom as a measure of success, he cannot deny its existence, particularly in the context of box office successes like Animal. He praised Ranveer's performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and reiterated his respect for both actors. Rao explained that stardom often correlates with the scale of a project, mentioning that he is not currently interested in pursuing that kind of fame. Stree 2 has broken box office records, earning Rs 596.87 crore domestically, while Rao's latest release, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Who Wala Video, is performing moderately at the box office. Despite mixed reviews for his new film, it is still faring better than Alia Bhatt's Jigra.
