In separate incidents, Gardaí have arrested individuals in connection with cannabis seizures in Ireland. In East Cork, a man in his 30s was arrested after authorities seized approximately 3.5 kilograms of herbal cannabis valued at €70,000, following a joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. Meanwhile, at Dublin Airport, a man in his 60s was arrested after customs officers discovered cannabis worth around €360,000 during a search. Both cases are under investigation, with the seized drugs sent for forensic analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
