UCLA Hires Sunseri as Offensive Coordinator

Tino Sunseri, Indiana's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, has been appointed as UCLA's new offensive coordinator following the firing of Eric Bieniemy, who led UCLA to one of the nation's worst offensive performances in his single season. Sunseri, recognized for his quarterback development skills, will join the Bruins after Indiana's postseason, having guided the Hoosiers to a strong offensive showing, ranking second nationally in scoring and mentoring quarterback Kurtis Rourke to a standout season. Indiana retains its other assistant coaches under head coach Curt Cignetti, who recently secured a lucrative eight-year contract. Sunseri's transition to UCLA was anticipated, as he was a primary target for the position and is expected to bring his successful offensive strategies to the Bruins. His previous experience includes coaching under Curt Cignetti at James Madison and serving on Nick Saban's staff at Alabama.
