NFL Nominates Players for Walter Payton Award

The NFL has announced its nominees for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, with Grady Jarrett from the Atlanta Falcons and Brandon Graham from the Philadelphia Eagles among the 32 players recognized. Jarrett, a long-time defensive tackle, has made significant contributions to the Atlanta community through his foundation, Grady Gives, which raised over $150,000 in 2024 and organized events for pediatric cancer patients. Graham, a franchise legend with notable on-field achievements, including a historic strip sack in Super Bowl LII, is also recognized for his community service efforts. The winner of the award will be announced during NFL Honors on February 6, 2024, alongside a one-hour special airing on ESPN featuring various nominees. Other nominees include Roquan Smith from the Baltimore Ravens and Dion Dawkins from the Buffalo Bills. Each nominee will receive $55,000 to donate to a charity of their choice, while the overall winner will receive $265,000.
