Texas Woman Charged After Newborn Found Dead in Trash

Catherine Nicole Innes, 22, has been charged with tampering with evidence related to the death of her newborn baby boy, who was found dead in the trash in a Harris County neighborhood in August 2024. Innes reportedly gave birth in the shower at home, and after the baby stopped breathing, she placed the infant in a trash bag, which was then discarded in an outdoor garbage bin.
