P.V. Sindhu Joins Pink Power Run in Hyderabad

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has partnered with the Sudha Reddy Foundation to promote the Pink Power Run, scheduled for September 29 in Hyderabad, aimed at raising breast cancer awareness. The event will include 3km, 5km, and 10km races, and will attempt to set a Guinness World Record by forming a large pink bird image with participants. Sindhu emphasized the importance of early detection and collective effort in combating breast cancer, aligning with alarming statistics that show one in 22 women in India is affected by the disease. Sudha Reddy, the event's organizer, highlighted the need for increased awareness and support for survivors to break barriers and challenge stigmas. The event seeks to unify participants of all ages and fitness levels in a noble cause while providing amenities and race kits. The Pink Power Run aims to foster a supportive community for those affected by breast cancer and promotes the significance of regular screenings.
