Friend dies in Utah after shooting during 'dodge bullet' stunt
Ashton Mann, 23, has been charged with felony manslaughter after allegedly shooting his friend, Dylan Treichel, during a reckless stunt where Treichel claimed he could 'dodge bullets.' The incident occurred in a garage in Kearns, Utah, where the two were smoking marijuana and discussing guns. According to reports, Mann and Treichel handled two handguns and, despite unloading them, began a dangerous game that involved Treichel attempting to jump out of the way as Mann aimed and pulled the trigger. Tragically, on the final attempt, the gun fired, striking Treichel in the chest, leading to his death after emergency services arrived. Mann called 911 and attempted to provide aid, but Treichel was pronounced dead at the hospital. Mann is currently held without bond and faces charges related to manslaughter and possession of dangerous weapons.
