Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has been ordered by the French league's legal commission to pay Kylian Mbappe €55 million (£46 million) in unpaid wages and bonuses after his transfer to Real Madrid. PSG has refused to comply with the ruling, arguing that the league's jurisdiction is limited and that the matter should be settled in court. The unpaid amount includes monthly salaries for April, May, and June, as well as a significant signing bonus that Mbappe was due in February. The dispute stems from Mbappe's decision not to extend his contract, leading to his exclusion from the team and subsequent transfer. PSG claims a verbal agreement negated the need for these payments, but Mbappe disputes this, having contacted UEFA and rejected mediation offers. Both parties are prepared to present their cases in court.
