He highlighted the AAP government's efforts, including reductions in pollution levels by 30% over the past nine years and the induction of electric buses. Rai urged for a collaborative approach, noting that only 31% of Delhi's pollution is locally generated, with the remainder originating from neighboring states. Both BJP and Congress criticized the AAP's measures, calling them political gimmicks, while Rai insisted on a collective responsibility to address pollution. He requested a meeting with central agencies to expedite permissions and implement cloud seeding before the winter season worsens air quality.
