Nvidia Hits $5T; NXP Tops Q3, Guides Q4
Nvidia surged to a $5 trillion market capitalization after GTC announcements, driven by continued AI spending and investor optimism despite some bubble concerns. At GTC the company said it has visibility into roughly $0.5 trillion of cumulative revenue for its Blackwell and Rubin products in 2025–26, prompting analysts to raise fair‑value estimates while noting upside if China opens to Blackwell sales — an outcome that remains uncertain. Separately, NXP reported third‑quarter revenue of $3.17 billion and non‑GAAP EPS of $3.11, with automotive revenue up about 6% sequentially to $1.84 billion and mobile revenue jumping roughly 30%; industrial & IoT and distribution also showed sequential gains while communications infrastructure weakened. NXP guided fourth‑quarter revenue to $3.2–3.4 billion (midpoint above Street estimates), said gross margin was about 57% in Q3 with Q4 guidance near 57–58%, and reported an operating margin near 33.8%. Management highlighted strengthening automotive momentum and recent deals (Aviva Links, a TTTech Auto transaction and Kinara acquisition approval) and said the balance sheet remains robust despite a year‑over‑year decline in operating cash flow.
