Peacock has launched in-market streaming options for its NBC Sports Regional Networks, allowing fans in the Bay Area, Boston, and Philadelphia to subscribe to live coverage of their local MLB, NBA, and NHL teams. Each regional network is available as an add-on for Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscribers, with prices varying: NBC Sports Boston at $14.95, NBC Sports California and Bay Area at $17.95, and NBC Sports Philadelphia at $24.95. Subscribers can access 24/7 streams of their favorite teams' games, although blackouts may apply based on location. This move positions Peacock as a comprehensive sports streaming hub, eliminating the need for traditional cable subscriptions for local sports. Additional programming, including pregame and postgame shows, will also be provided.
