Investigation Underway in 7-Year-Old's Shooting Death

A tragic incident occurred in Lancaster, California, where a 7-year-old boy was found shot to death while visiting a friend's home. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene on Dahlia Street around 3:46 p.m. on Thursday, and despite life-saving efforts, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that the boy did not reside at the location and that a firearm was recovered from the scene; however, no arrests have been made, and foul play is not currently suspected. Authorities are interviewing other children and adults present at the time to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
