British musician Stormzy makes his lead acting debut in the short film "Big Man," directed by Academy Award winner Aneil Karia and shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro. The 20-minute film follows Tenzman, a world-weary musician who meets two teenagers and embarks on a heartwarming journey to Brighton. "Big Man" is the first project from Stormzy’s production company, Merky Films, and the first Shot on iPhone film produced entirely in the UK. Director Aneil Karia praised the iPhone 16 Pro's portability and advanced features, such as 4K 120 fps slow motion and Cinematic mode, which offered a flexible and intimate filming experience unlike traditional cameras. The film showcases Apple's push for narrative-driven cinematic projects using iPhone technology and is available to stream on Apple’s YouTube channel.
