Congress Unveils Haryana Election Manifesto

The Congress Party has unveiled its comprehensive manifesto for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, titled 'Haath Badlega Halaat', with a strong emphasis on welfare measures for farmers, women, and youth. Key promises include free electricity up to 300 units, health coverage of Rs 25 lakh, and monthly financial support of Rs 2,000 for women aged 18-60. The manifesto also pledges to restore the Old Pension Scheme, provide Rs 6,000 pensions for senior citizens and widows, and implement a Minimum Support Price (MSP) law for crops. Additionally, Congress plans to create 2 lakh jobs, conduct a caste-based census, and ensure the closure of legal cases against farmers from the past decade.
