Teton Ridge Acquires The Cowboy Channel

Teton Ridge has acquired The Cowboy Channel, The Cowgirl Channel, and The Cowboy Channel+ from Rural Media Group, making it the largest rights holder in Western sports. This strategic acquisition, which includes an exclusive licensing agreement with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), aims to enhance the visibility and impact of Western sports globally. Teton Ridge CEO Deirdre Lester emphasized the company's commitment to honoring the traditions of the sport while expanding its reach to new audiences, as the channels together reach over 100 million people and broadcast more than 600 live rodeo events annually. The Gottsch sisters, daughters of the late Patrick Gottsch, expressed confidence in Teton Ridge continuing their father's legacy and passion for Western sports. The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Teton Ridge, reinforcing its authority in the industry and setting the stage for future growth.
