Waukesha Police Arrest Suspect in Homicide Case

The Waukesha Police Department arrested 62-year-old Kevin Lychwick in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Carlos Maldonado, whose body was discovered wrapped in a tarp near Frame Park on October 30. Authorities believe Lychwick shot Maldonado in April and had a personal motive, as Maldonado was reportedly on Lychwick's 'hit list'. The victim was identified after a significant investigation, and the cause of death was confirmed as a gunshot wound. Lychwick is scheduled for an initial court appearance on December 9. This case marks the second homicide in Waukesha this year, following several other suspicious deaths in the area. Community members expressed shock and concern over the recent spate of violence.
