Air Transat Extends Montreal Routes to Bordeaux, Valencia for Winter 2025

Air Transat, recognized as the 2024 World's Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax, is extending its transatlantic routes to Bordeaux and Valencia into the winter season of 2025-2026, offering weekly non-stop flights from Montréal-Trudeau starting February 21. This expansion marks a strategic move to make the airline's transatlantic service available year-round, reinforcing its presence in key French provinces like Bordeaux alongside Lyon, Marseille, and Nantes. The extension to Valencia, a rapidly growing destination in Spain, complements Air Transat's existing winter routes to Madrid and Malaga, further solidifying its year-round footprint in Spain. Sebastian Ponce, Air Transat's Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the importance of these developments in meeting leisure travelers' needs and strengthening the airline's market positions in France and Spain. Tickets for these winter flights are now available, with full details of the Winter 2025-2026 program forthcoming. This initiative enhances Air Transat’s summer program, which will continue through October 2026.
