Passengers, including Selah Holland, reported that the pilot humorously credited 'the strength of one of our passengers' for finally opening the door, leading to speculation about Bradshaw's involvement. However, in an Instagram post, Bradshaw clarified that he did not assist in opening the door, stating it was the maintenance crew who resolved the issue in 15 minutes. Many passengers, aware of Bradshaw's presence, joked about his ability to help due to his age. Bradshaw was traveling to Pittsburgh for a celebratory dinner honoring his former teammate, Mel Blount. Despite the humorous mix-up, Bradshaw downplayed his role in the incident, emphasizing the quick work of the maintenance team.
